Annamaria Kostarellis, a senior at Baylor, placed second in the women's 10,000-meter race in a lifetime-best 32:10.96 at the NCAA Division 1 West Regional at Sacramento State. Kostarellis, competing in only the second 10,000 in her career, advanced to an NCAA track final for the first time after multiple appearances at Division 1 cross country finals for both New Mexico and Xavier (Ohio). Kostarellis will race June 8 at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas.
