USC junior Angie Annelus won her 200-meter quarterfinal heat in a wind-legal lifetime-best 22.36 seconds at the West Regionals in Sacramento, Calif. Annelus, the reigning Division 1 champion, elevated to the No. 23 performer in collegiate outdoor history. She also ran the second leg on the victorious 4x100-meter relay, which led all qualifiers to the national semifinals June 6 in Austin, Texas by clocking 42.84 seconds.
