USC sophomore Chanel Brissett ran an all-conditions lifetime best with a wind-aided 12.69 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles to win her quarterfinal heat at the West Regionals in Sacramento, Calif. Brissett and teammate Anna Cockrell, who ran a wind-legal personal-best 12.85 seconds to place second in her quarterfinal, both advanced to the June 6 national semifinals in Austin, Texas.
