Jermaisha Arnold, a senior at Texas A&M, placed second in her 400-meter quarterfinal heat in 50.95 seconds at the NCAA Division 1 West Regional at John McDonnell Field in Fayetteville, Ark. Arnold also contributed to the Aggies finishing second in their 4x400-meter relay quarterfinal heat in 3:28.53, advancing in both events to compete in the June 6 semifinals in the Division 1 championship meet at Hayward Field in Oregon.
